Thanks Conrad. I have installed centos using VM box for my hadoop projects on my windows 10. I find that the VM is very slow and takes a lot of time to respond to commands. Is there any thing that needs to be done on the settings to improve the performance? I earlier gave 1 Gb to memory then made to 3 GB following RAM upgrade in host machine. I use HP pavilion 15-n012tx which is core i5, 12 GB ram (extended from 4 GB) and cpu is 1.6 ghz. Please can you help?
